For many years, I have been enduring because I have responsibilities to care for both elderly parents and young children. If something were to happen to me, it would bring endless disasters to them.
I have pondered deeply for a long time, what do I really need? It's simply freedom (to not be arbitrarily controlled), democracy (officials elected by the people to serve them), and the rule of law (fair judicial rulings for injustices).
These should be the most basic rights, yet why is it so difficult in China?
