They have no need for law and care nothing for public opinion. Whether you agree or not, whether you are willing or not, they govern however they please. This is their way—ruling with unchecked arrogance.
In such an authoritarian environment, the corruption and shameless persecution carried out against me by officials like the Secretary Li Guosheng of the CCP in Shangqiu, Henan province and the Mayor Bai Xiangyang is merely a reflection of the broader oppressive system.
