Some people believe that the CCP is in serious crisis—seemingly powerful, yet actually on the verge of collapse, including some dissident leaders. I, however, feel that instead of wasting energy on illusory hopes, it is better to focus on practical actions. To encounter such an opponent in one’s lifetime makes me constantly think about the ways I can resist them. This process is both bitter and sweet, a lifetime of struggle, and I find joy in it. Even if I ultimately fail, it will still have been worthwhile.
