Many Americans believe that Trump's crackdown on immigrants, the forced separation of parents and children, and his open support for racists and the far right are acts of great courage.
In my view, that isn't courage at all. True courage is standing openly against hatred, showing solidarity, and holding firm to one's principles even when one knows they will face intense opposition.

These corrupt officials are just the tip of the iceberg of the Chinese Communist Party's corruption, especially the autocrat Xi Jinping, whose egregious human rights violations and persecution of innocent people are beyond description.
