For years, some democratic nations have placed their hopes in economic sanctions to pressure the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) into improving its human rights record. But the facts have long made it clear: such appeasement strategies are utterly ineffective. The CCP continues to ruthlessly suppress dissent at home and trample on basic human rights, while aggressively exporting authoritarian ideology, posing a serious threat to the global order of freedom and democracy.
The Chinese people are not the enemy of the world—but the CCP is undoubtedly the oppressor of the Chinese people and a sworn enemy of global freedom.
Only by bringing an end to the CCP’s authoritarian rule and overthrowing Xi Jinping’s tyrannical regime can China move toward genuine freedom and democracy. A China that has cast off tyranny and embraced constitutional governance would become a powerful force for global peace and prosperity.
