I have found that many of us who were forced into exile are now solely focused on working and making a living. I understand that the burdens of reality compel many to bow their heads and struggle.

However, it was not livelihood concerns that led us onto this path, but our yearning for freedom, our resistance against tyranny, and our unwavering belief in democracy.

What I want to say is this: Without steadfast faith, without steadfast strength.
