Dear Prime Minister Albanese,
I am writing to you with a heavy heart, seeking your intervention and assistance in addressing the severe situation that I and many other refugees are facing due to the UNHCR's corruption, cold-bloodedness, and collusion with authoritarian regimes to persecute dissidents.
1. Due to my human rights activities in mainland China, I have been persecuted by the CCP. Forced to flee abroad, my young child had to drop out of school, my father's arm was broken, my son's arm was bitten, and my relatives and friends have been continuously harassed by the CCP.
2. I submitted a refugee application to the UNHCR Thailand Office on October 9, 2023, with my young child. However, due to their collusion with the CCP, they have not scheduled my RSD interview, preventing me and my child from being resettled.
3. I have reported multiple times to the UNHCR Inspector General’s Office, the UNHCR Asia-Pacific Regional Director Hai Kyung Jun, and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi. Instead of addressing my concerns, they have blocked my social media accounts.
My requests:
1. I earnestly implore you to leverage your nation’s influence and unite with other democratic countries of the free world to thoroughly reform the UNHCR and replace its incompetent and corrupt leadership, including Filippo Grandi.
2. Advocate for the establishment of a fair reporting system and a comprehensive reward and punishment mechanism within the UNHCR.
