Xi Jinping's Major Mistakes (Part 14): China Has Become a Police State

In recent years, while Xi Jinping has been steadily expanding police powers, he has failed to establish effective checks and balances, resulting in widespread abuse of power and unlawful arrests by the police becoming commonplace. In this situation, people's lives are no longer guaranteed tranquility and order but have turned into an endless nightmare of oppression.

1. Expansion of Police Powers

Xi Jinping has continually strengthened control over police forces, viewing them as a powerful tool for maintaining regime stability. However, this excessive expansion trend is worrisome. In the absence of effective oversight, the abuse of police power has become rampant. This not only undermines individual rights but also turns the entire society into a cage of power monopoly.

2. Lack of Checks and Balances

A police institution without checks and balances is prone to becoming a tool of the government's coercion. In such circumstances, the police no longer serve justice and the rule of law but instead become instruments of governmental will. They can abuse power at will, violate laws, and often face no consequences for their actions. In this scenario, the essence of the rule of law is distorted, and people cannot rely on the legal system to protect their rights.

3. Unlawful Arrests and Public Fear

In an environment of power abuse, even the slightest dissent from citizens can trigger unlawful arrests by the authorities. Citizens lose their practical right to due process and become potential victims of arbitrary detention. This atmosphere breeds a profound fear where people dare not express their opinions or even pursue justice. Society becomes stifling and oppressive, forcing people to endure suffering in silence.

4. Evolving into a Genuine Police State

With the continuous expansion of police powers, China is gradually transforming into a genuine police state. This not only undermines people's confidence in the future but also destroys the basic moral and ethical principles of society. In this society where power penetrates every aspect and fear pervades, people live in an environment devoid of dignity and freedom.

5. Call for International Attention

I myself have been subjected to illegal arrest and detention in this police state, solely for questioning police misconduct. Faced with this reality, we cannot remain silent. The international community has a responsibility to pay attention to the Chinese government's excessive expansion of police powers and to sanction officials who persecute the people. Only through international support and attention can more freedom and rights be secured for the Chinese people. It is essential for the international community to step forward and collectively address the issue of China's police state.

Xi Jinping needs to take responsibility for this and should resign!

I have reported the illegal and disciplinary bureaucratic group led by Li Guosheng, the Secretary of the CCP in Shangqiu city, Henan Province, and the Mayor Bai Xiangyang from the grassroots level to the highest level in accordance with the law. Xi Jinping, where is your anti-corruption campaign in the regime you lead?
