The Selective Anti-Corruption Campaign of the CCP Leads to Escalating Corruption and Eroding Rule of Law

In the past decade, Xi Jinping's highly publicized anti-corruption campaign has demonstrated significant selectivity in practice:

1. The anti-corruption campaign appears more like a premeditated political spectacle, with certain groups or individuals becoming sacrificial lambs while others, who wield greater power, escape unscathed. This selectivity inevitably raises questions about the true motives behind the anti-corruption drive, suggesting whether it's merely a tool to suppress dissent.

2. Despite the intensification of anti-corruption efforts, corruption has continued to worsen. This phenomenon suggests that anti-corruption measures are not addressing the root issues and may even foster a breeding ground for corruption. Genuine rule of law is essential in curbing corruption, yet the CCP's anti-corruption efforts have undermined fundamental legal principles, exacerbating the growth of corruption.

3. Substantial issues faced by the people remain largely unresolved. While the anti-corruption campaign is touted as a move to benefit the people, in reality, the living conditions of the people have not fundamentally improved. Anti-corruption has become part of a political struggle rather than a means to enhance social equity and promote economic development. People expect more solutions and reforms rather than simple power plays and political theatrics.

4. The CCP's selective anti-corruption efforts are undermining the cornerstone of the rule of law. Throughout the anti-corruption process, the CCP often circumvents legal procedures and resorts to illegal means against the accused, violating basic principles of the rule of law and further eroding trust in the legal system. A truly healthy society relies on the safeguard of the rule of law, not the exploitation of anti-corruption campaigns as tools for persecuting dissenters.

5. Xi Jinping's anti-corruption drive has led to a reverse purging within the CCP officialdom. Those with reformist ideas are mostly targeted under the guise of anti-corruption or marginalized, while sycophantic officials are more likely to advance, turning the bureaucratic landscape into a battleground of intrigue.

6. Xi Jinping seeks to unify the realm and establish himself as a great leader through anti-corruption measures, aiming to fundamentally transform society and leave a monumental legacy. However, blinded by ambition, he has stirred numerous controversies and tragedies, failing to recognize his own limitations and bringing about much ridicule and sorrow to the Chinese people.

7. Since the 20th Party Congress, few senior officials have fallen from grace. Dissidents have largely been targeted, leaving only minor figures. Continuing the anti-corruption drive vigorously would cause chaos among Xi Jinping's own personnel, so in reality, anti-corruption efforts have come to a halt.

8. Anti-corruption has spawned the largest faction. They protect each other, turning a deaf ear to the voices of the people, and what little democracy once existed has been utterly destroyed.

9. Xi Jinping is the biggest corrupt figure. Over the past decade, Xi Jinping has engaged in numerous acts detrimental to society, such as promoting ideological conformity, forming cliques, prioritizing the state over the people, and suppressing free speech. If one were to tackle corruption, should it not start with Xi Jinping himself?

Xi Jinping's selective anti-corruption campaign has become a dual threat to social stability and the rule of law.

Xi Jinping needs to take responsibility for this and should resign!

I have reported the illegal and disciplinary bureaucratic group led by Li Guosheng, the Secretary of the CCP in Shangqiu city, Henan Province, and the Mayor Bai Xiangyang from the grassroots level to the highest level in accordance with the law. Xi Jinping, where is your anti-corruption campaign in the regime you lead?
