My personal experiences have torn away the hypocritical mask of Xi Jinping’s so-called "rule of law" and have brought the county governor Jiang Yanjun of Yu County, to the moral and legal judgment table. This high-ranking official, when faced with the unlawful actions of YuCheng County Public Security Bureau led by the chief Jia Tao and a group of law enforcers, who trampled the law and implicated innocent people, not only failed to speak out but also chose to cover up and condone these actions, becoming a co-conspirator in corruption and violence. Jiang Yanjun, your silence is not ignorance, but shamelessness; your inaction is not incompetence, but a form of aiding and abetting!
Abuse of Power and the County Governor's Guilt
On February 17, 2023, I was illegally arrested, interrogated, and even threatened by Yang Jingtao, the director of the Xincheng Police Station in Suiyang District, Shangqiu City, and others after questioning police misconduct, which eventually forced me to flee overseas. On November 11, 2024, my son was illegally blocked from leaving the country at Shanghai Pudong International Airport by the Yucheng County Public Security Bureau, stripped of his basic right to freedom of movement. This blatant persecution of family members is a revival of the "collective punishment" reminiscent of feudal times, sending shivers down the spine.
Jiang Yanjun, as the highest-ranking official in Yucheng County, can you claim to know nothing about this? The Public Security Bureau of Yucheng County is a key department under your administration. Its director, Jia Tao, openly breaks the law, engages in cross-regional persecution, and even targets innocent family members. Yet, you remain deaf and mute, turning a blind eye. This is not dereliction of duty but condoning the wrongdoing. This is not incompetence but complicity! You claim to represent the people, yet you watch as the police system becomes a tool of private power, harming the people. Where is your conscience? Where is your responsibility?
A Shield for Corruption, The Grave Digger of the People
Jiang Yanjun, as a county governor, you should be the defender of the law, the protector of the people, yet you choose to align with corrupt forces. The various illegal acts of the Yucheng County Public Security Bureau— exit ban, collective punishment, and the trampling of human rights—have all occurred right under your nose. If you truly had any sense of responsibility, you should have stepped forward, thoroughly investigated the crimes of Jia Tao and others, and brought these bad apples to justice. But you didn’t. You chose silence, you chose to cover up, and you may have even chosen to take a share of the benefits. This behavior is not mere negligence, it is a desecration of power, a betrayal of the people!
A county governor who cannot even control his own police chief is hardly fit to govern. If you know that your subordinates are breaking the law and yet do nothing, how can you still call yourself a "public servant"? Jiang Yanjun, you are not incompetent but immoral. You are not negligent but unethical! You and Jia Tao are nothing more than birds of a feather, maintaining your power through corruption, oppression of the people, and abuse of authority. Your corruption is like a cancer, eroding every inch of Yucheng County and causing the people to live in fear and injustice.
Accomplice of Xi Jinping’s "New Era"
Xi Jinping's "Chinese Dream" and "New Era" are nothing more than "old wine in new bottles," and Jiang Yanjun is a loyal executor of this hypocritical dream. The atrocities of the Yucheng County Public Security Bureau are a living proof of the absurdity of Xi Jinping's "rule of law." Jiang Yanjun, you condone the persecution of innocent people by the police, encourage rampant corruption, and thereby contribute to the authoritarian regime of Xi Jinping. Every moment of your silence is a betrayal of the people; every act of covering up is an affront to the law. You may think of yourself as a county head, but in reality, you are just a cog in the dictator’s machine, surviving on corruption and violence.
Jiang Yanjun, How Dare You Still Show Your Face?
Jiang Yanjun, can you face the accusations of the victims? Can you look into the eyes of those wronged by the police under your rule? A county head who does not dare to take responsibility, an official who turns a blind eye to abuse of power, has no right to sit in that seat. Your silence is a crime, your condoning is shameful. You are the grave digger of the people, a shield for corruption, and a butcher of the rule of law!
A regime that is against the people will inevitably lose the support of the people; a county head who relies on corrupt officials will forever be remembered with shame. Jiang Yanjun, your actions have already nailed you to the pillar of historical disgrace.
