Dear President Emmanuel Macron,

I hope this letter finds you well.  I come from China and I am writing to you with a heavy heart, seeking your intervention and assistance to address the dire situation faced by myself and many other refugees due to the corruption, cold-heartedness, and collusion of the UNHCR with authoritarian regimes in persecuting dissidents.

1. I was forced to flee China due to my involvement in human rights activities, which led to persecution by the CCP. My young child had to drop out of school, my father’s arm was broken, my son’s arm was bitten, and my relatives and friends continue to be harassed by the CCP.

2. On October 9, 2023, I submitted a refugee application to the UNHCR Thailand Office with my young child. However, due to their collusion with the CCP, I have not been granted an RSD interview, preventing us from obtaining resettlement.

3. Despite repeatedly reporting these issues to the UNHCR Inspector General’s Office, the UNHCR Asia-Pacific Regional Director Hai Kyung Jun, and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi, I have been ignored, and my social media accounts have been blocked.

My requests are as follows:
1. I earnestly implore you to leverage your nation’s influence and unite with other democratic countries of the free world to thoroughly reform the UNHCR and replace its incompetent and corrupt leadership, including Filippo Grandi.

2. Advocate for the establishment of a fair reporting system and a comprehensive reward and punishment mechanism within the UNHCR.

I believe that with France’s rich democratic tradition and your leadership, significant changes can be initiated to uphold the principles of justice and human rights that we all hold dear.
