The UNHCR's misdeeds (1): Colluding with authoritarian regimes to persecute dissidents.

My personal experiences with the UNHCR demonstrate the close collusion between the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and authoritarian regimes, leading to the secondary persecution and suffering of political dissidents. Below, I will describe my firsthand experiences to reveal the UNHCR's unlawful actions and betrayal of human rights and morality in this matter.

Having self-studied law, since 2012, I have engaged in multiple legal actions in mainland China to safeguard my rights and promote social justice, which made me a thorn in the side of local government officials. Eventually, I was persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and forced into exile. My child was also forced to drop out of school, and my relatives and friends suffered collateral damage.

On October 9, 2023, I submitted a refugee application form at the UNHCR Thailand Office with my young child. However, it has been 7 months since then, and I have not yet to be granted an interview for refugee status determination (RSD).

What is even more shocking is that on October 23, 2023, at 10:38 AM, I was intercepted by the CCP agents outside the UNHCR Thailand Office. Subsequently, during the refugee registration interview on November 9, 2023, in the afternoon, I mentioned this incident and requested access to surveillance footage and also reported it to the police. The interview was recorded, serving as evidence. At the end of the interview, the staff instructed me to send the refugee application file to the work email of the UNHCR Thailand Office, where I also mentioned the incident. This serves as further evidence. The staff acknowledged the severity of my situation on the spot, promising to expedite my application once they reviewed the refugee application file. However, what followed was a prolonged period of waiting and suffering. This indicates that higher-level officials intervened and obstructed my application process.

Since then, despite my numerous attempts to contact the UNHCR Thailand Office and plead for an RSD interview, I have been met with disregard.

This series of events reveals the collusion between the UNHCR and authoritarian regimes, perpetrating heinous acts of persecution against political dissidents. As an international organization, the UNHCR should be responsible for protecting the safety and verifying the status of refugees, but its actions contravene this responsibility, further endangering political dissidents.

Therefore, I call for thorough investigations by relevant countries and international organizations into the collusion between the UNHCR and the CCP regime. By examining evidence such as intercepted incidents, interview recordings, emails, and post-interview conversations, the truth will become apparent. the UNHCR's leadership and staff must be held accountable for their collusion with the CCP and their misdeeds in human rights persecution, ensuring fair treatment of refugees.

In conclusion, the UNHCR's collusion with authoritarian regimes to persecute political dissidents seriously violates its duties and morality. I urge the UNHCR to reassess its conduct, restore its rightful mission of protecting human rights, and ensure fair treatment of political dissidents.

The UNHCR, you need to explain the above actions!

Xi Jinping needs to take responsibility for this and should resign!

I have reported the illegal and disciplinary bureaucratic group led by Li Guosheng, the Secretary of the CCP in Shangqiu city, Henan Province, and the Mayor Bai Xiangyang from the grassroots level to the highest level in accordance with the law. Xi Jinping, where is your anti-corruption campaign in the regime you lead?
