Xi Jinping's Major Mistakes (Part 20): Plotting to Usurp Power, Embarking on the Path of Dictatorship

Since Xi Jinping came to power, Chinese politics has taken a dangerous turn, characterized by the concentration of power, the absence of democracy, and the ruthless suppression of dissenting voices. Through a series of power maneuvers and unconstitutional actions, Xi Jinping has not only eroded the rights of the Chinese people but has also established a gangster-style rule within the CCP.

1. The 2018 Two Sessions marked an important juncture in Chinese history. Xi Jinping, by amending the constitution, formally removed the term limit for the president ("the President shall serve no more than two consecutive terms") and established the powerful National Supervisory Commission without consulting the people, clearing legal obstacles for his long-term rule. This move severely subverted and damaged China's political system. It not only violated constitutional principles but also openly trampled on the democratic rights of the Chinese people.

2. Xi Jinping further consolidated his dictatorship through power struggles. He not only promoted his cronies and sidelined dissenters but also used various means to crush opposition, rendering the party ineffective in checking his power. Xi Jinping has become a de facto godfather, surpassing all others, pushing China into a dark political era.

3. The reelection at the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (2022) and the 14th National People's Congress (2023) blatantly disregarded party regulations and the Chinese constitution. Contrary to the principle proposed by Deng Xiaoping of "no more than two terms per tenure" and against the trend of term limits in most countries, Xi Jinping unlawfully extended his tenure, placing his personal desires above the state and party statutes, severely betraying China's political traditions and depriving the Chinese people of their democratic rights. Xi Jinping's actions not only trampled on the Chinese constitution but also openly challenged the internal system of the CCP.

4. Xi Jinping's public removal of former General Secretary Hu Jintao at the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China was shocking. This blatant violation of party regulations and insult to a former leader demonstrates the extreme desire for power and disregard for party rules within the Xi Jinping regime. This behavior is not only an insult to Hu Jintao personally but also an extreme disruption to the system and tradition of the Chinese Communist Party.

5. China was gradually progressing, but Xi Jinping forcibly dragged it back to the dark ages of feudalism, pushing the country into an era of centralized power and the absence of democracy. His actions go against the tide of history, not only depriving China of development opportunities but also reducing the country and its people to slaves of his personal power ambitions. Xi Jinping has become a malignant tumor in Chinese history, and his tyranny seriously threatens the rule of law and the rights of the people.

Xi Jinping needs to take responsibility for this and should resign!

I have reported the illegal and disciplinary bureaucratic group led by Li Guosheng, the Secretary of the CCP in Shangqiu city, Henan Province, and the Mayor Bai Xiangyang from the grassroots level to the highest level in accordance with the law. Xi Jinping, where is your anti-corruption campaign in the regime you lead?
