Why do I steadfastly resist the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)?

1. Growing Experience: I was born in a remote and impoverished village in China, where I experienced firsthand the arrogance of authority and witnessed too much abuse of power. I have personally endured the humiliation inflicted by officials and felt the helplessness of being unable to get justice.

2. Self-Educated Path: Without attending university, I pursued my passion for computer programming and became a software engineer through self-study.

3. Desire for Justice and Democracy: Driven by an inner longing for justice, a yearning for democracy, and an understanding of the authoritarian nature of the CCP, I later studied law in the hope of using it to protect myself, my loved ones, and to help those in need.

4. Advocacy Experience: I began advocating for rights in 2012, experiencing both success and failure. I witnessed the corruption and mutual protection within the CCP bureaucracy, the arrogance of officials, and the powerlessness of the people, deepening my understanding of the CCP.

5. Perception of Policy Changes: Since 2015, I have distinctly felt a tightening of policies and increased control over the people, as well as the blatant oppression and persecution by the government and police.

6. Warning of Constitutional Amendments: The constitutional amendment of 2018 was a turning point. At that moment, I knew everything was over, even the faint hope I clung to was completely extinguished. Subsequent events like the three-year pandemic lockdowns and the CCP's 20th Congress did not surprise me in the least.

7. Family Responsibilities: I have elderly father and young children and cannot leave the mainland. I am prepared to live humbly and engage in rights advocacy and democratic activities within the limits permitted by law and my abilities because this is my belief, and I will not give up on it.

8. Persecution: On February 17, 2023, I merely questioned the police's illegal actions, citing detailed legal provisions. However, I was unlawfully arrested and detained by the police, leaving my 11-year-old child alone at home. They carried out the arrest late at night, across different jurisdictions, in civilian clothing, and failed to provide any reason for the arrest. This incident once again made me realize their lawlessness and disregard for decency.

9. Ineffectiveness of Reporting: After my release, I wrote a letter to the district public security bureau chief, Tan Zhenqi, requesting proper legal procedures for my arrest but received threats of rearrest instead. Five months later, I left China on a tourist visa. I filed complaints through international courier services, government websites, and media outlets to the district committee, municipal public security bureau chief, municipal committee and government, provincial committee and government, and the State Council Premier, hoping for action. However, all my efforts were met with silence, and all my mainland media accounts were banned during this period.

10. Inability to Sue: Many may wonder why I don't sue. Because even the slightest action of filing a lawsuit would result in my arrest before I even reach the courthouse. I have experienced firsthand their lawlessness.

Hope has turned into despair! If I continue to cower in fear, all that remains will be heartache!

At this point, helplessness has turned into strength!

Xi Jinping needs to take responsibility for this and should resign!

I have reported the illegal and disciplinary bureaucratic group led by Li Guosheng, the Secretary of the CCP in Shangqiu city, Henan Province, and the Mayor Bai Xiangyang from the grassroots level to the highest level in accordance with the law. Xi Jinping, where is your anti-corruption campaign in the regime you lead?
