The Hypocrisy and Authoritarianism of "Patriots Governing Hong Kong"

Hong Kong, once a city of freedom and prosperity, now finds itself in a state of apprehension under the rule of "patriots governing Hong Kong." The government, supposed to represent the interests of the people, has transformed into a tool for authoritarian rule.

"Patriots" under Authoritarian Rule

The slogan of "patriots governing Hong Kong" seems to express loyalty to the country. However, a nation should represent the interests of the people, not serve as a tool for authoritarian rule. In Hong Kong, so-called "patriots" are nothing more than puppets in the hands of authoritarian rulers, lacking the qualification to represent the people. The "patriots" system exists solely to maintain the stability of authoritarian rule, showing no genuine concern for the suffering of the people.

Under the authoritarian system, these "patriots" lack representativeness; they are mere lackeys of the authoritarian ruler. Their existence is merely to cover up the actions of the authoritarian regime and defend the ruler's deeds. These "patriots" in such a system resemble security guards for authoritarian rule rather than representatives of the people.

The Deceptive "Rebuttal and Response Team"

To uphold the image of authoritarian rule, the "patriots governing Hong Kong" have established the so-called "rebuttal and response team," essentially a variant of the state's propaganda machinery. This team exists solely to counter any voices daring to resist authoritarian rule, stigmatizing opposition as "hostile forces."

Under the authoritarian system, the "rebuttal and response team" essentially serves as the mouthpiece for the authoritarian rulers, tasked with defending them and covering up their shortcomings. This behavior fundamentally suppresses freedom of speech and mocks the righteous voices of the people.

Dissenting People are Not "Hostile Forces"

Labeling opposition as "hostile forces" is a means of intimidation by the authoritarian system. Here, "hostile forces" refer not to external threats but to those striving for freedom and democracy. These individuals are not tarnishing the nation but fighting for the rights of the people and advocating for freedom.

A government with sufficient popular support has no reason to fear criticism. The sensitivity of authoritarian rulers to dissenting voices is a clear indication that they lack genuine public support and that their rule is not based on the true interests of the people. The suppression of opposition only highlights the inner fears of authoritarian rulers.

People's Dissatisfaction is Not Confrontation

Authoritarian systems often label people's dissatisfaction as "soft confrontation," attempting to suppress legitimate grievances by portraying them as a form of opposition. However, people's dissatisfaction is a genuine reflection of systemic injustice, not a betrayal of the nation. Distorting people's dissatisfaction as hostility aims only to coerce the people into welcoming authoritarian rule.

In a system of freedom and democracy, people have legitimate avenues to express dissatisfaction and lawful means to oppose. However, under authoritarian rule, the people's grievances are stifled, and their voice is silenced.

Xi Jinping needs to take responsibility for this and should resign!

I have reported the illegal and disciplinary bureaucratic group led by Li Guosheng, the Secretary of the CCP in Shangqiu city, Henan Province, and the Mayor Bai Xiangyang from the grassroots level to the highest level in accordance with the law. Xi Jinping, where is your anti-corruption campaign in the regime you lead?
