Xi Jinping's Major Mistakes (Part 2): Severe Speech Censorship and Internet Blockade

In today's 21st century, freedom of information and freedom of speech are considered fundamental rights indispensable to modern society. However, the regime led by Xi Jinping in China is notorious for its tight control over speech and its blockade of the internet. Such behavior not only violates internationally recognized human rights standards but also deeply infringes upon the freedom of speech of Chinese citizens.

1. Speech Censorship

Freedom of speech is the cornerstone of a democratic society, providing citizens with a platform to express opinions, criticize the government, and participate in public affairs. However, in China, speech censorship has become the norm of this regime, with any voices attempting to challenge its ideology or reveal the truth ruthlessly suppressed. Through the establishment of so-called "Internet Information Office," "Internet Patrol Officers," and powerful technological means, any dissenting voices on the internet are monitored and silenced.

Firstly, the absurdity of speech censorship lies in its underlying intent. The Communist regime seeks to maintain its power by controlling speech, weakening any voices that may question its legitimacy. This not only mutilates freedom of speech but also shows contempt for citizens' rights. Speech censorship not only restricts people's freedom of expression but also makes it difficult for the truth to surface, plunging society into an abyss of misinformation.

Secondly, speech censorship leads to ideological homogenization. In a society devoid of diverse voices, people find it difficult to encounter different viewpoints and information, leading to narrow-mindedness. This homogenization of thought not only affects the public's judgment of facts but also weakens society's innovative capacity. A truly strong nation should be one filled with diverse thoughts, not one where the ideology of rulers runs rampant without restraint.

2. Internet Blockade

The internet is the core of the information age, the primary tool for people to access information and exchange views. However, in China, the internet is viewed by the Communist Party as a potential threat, leading to extensive and strict blockade. This internet blockade not only hinders citizens' right to access information but also deprives them of opportunities to participate in global dialogue.

Firstly, internet blockade turns China into an information island. In the global internet era, the circulation and sharing of information are the foundation of societal progress. However, the Communist Party's internet blockade isolates the domestic network from the international one, making it impossible for domestic users to freely access information from the outside world. This not only affects Chinese citizens' understanding of the international community but also diminishes China's influence on the global stage.

Secondly, internet blockade acts as a stumbling block to freedom of information. In an environment where information is restricted, people find it difficult to ascertain the truth or form independent judgments. This blockade is not only an infringement on individual freedom but also a disdain for societal wisdom. Diversity of information is the source of societal progress, while internet blockade mercilessly deprives society of this source.

The errors committed by the Communist Party in speech censorship and internet blockade seriously infringe upon freedom of speech, undermine societal innovation, and hamper international communication. Freedom of speech is the cornerstone of human civilization, and any attempt to suppress it will lead to societal regression.

Xi Jinping needs to take responsibility for this and should resign!

Xi Jinping, where is your anti-corruption campaign in the regime you lead?
