The increasingly authoritarian CCP and the increasingly dictatorial and belligerent Xi Jinping are serious threats to the free world and need to be destroyed in many ways.
If the political containment, economic isolation, and technological blockade are strictly enforced, will the CCP still be so arrogant? Unfortunately, when you see the economic benefits, you rush in and cause the CCP to split. This is the sadness of the free world.
