Freedom and democracy are mortal enemies of authoritarianism and dictatorship. The democratic camp initially believed in achieving peaceful transformation at minimal cost, but this approach has ultimately failed. Yet, some still attempt appeasement, which only emboldens authoritarian regimes, allowing them to grow stronger and leading to even more severe consequences. Wake up: authoritarianism is a cancer. If it is not completely eradicated, it will eventually backfire on everyone.
