I come from China, where I was subjected to illegal arrest and brutal treatment by the police in the city of Shangqiu, Henan province. Despite my attempts to seek assistance from various levels of the Chinese government, my pleas have fallen on deaf ears, revealing a disturbing pattern of complicity and protection of corrupt law enforcement officers.
As a Chinese citizen, I should be entitled to protection and justice from my own government. Instead, I have endured persecution and threats to my life. This situation is terrifying and a clear violation of human rights. I implore the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to investigate my case and help restore my innocence. Please provide an avenue for accountability for corrupt officials and abusive law enforcement officers.
I believe that international scrutiny and your intervention can make a significant difference in holding those responsible for these heinous acts accountable. It is my hope that my case can serve as an example of the urgent need for human rights protection and reform within China.
